HC622: Antiqued version of HC602
Master violin with choice tonewoods, beautiful medium satin, medium reddish-brown to golden-brown finish. Clear, big sound with fine sound projection. Rich tone. When compared with European instruments selling at two or three times these prices, the value is evident. All are made entirely by hand and hand finished, of course. Only well seasoned tonewoods are used. We guarantee these completely! This is the violin that was recommended in Strings magazine. 4/4 only. Violin only.

HC2100: Brilliant Performance Level Violin
Beautiful, glossy (not "glassy") varnishes ranging from warm gold-brown to a tame reddish-brown. Nice clarity and great response with a good level of tonal response throughout the dynamic range. HC2400: Tastefully antiqued - Small venue performance violin
Heavily, yet tastefully antiqued with medium-brown varnish over a golden base. Has a very warm sound with a nice level of complexity and color in the tone. Expressive playing is not a problem on this instrument! A good "room" or small venue perfomance violin. 4/4, 3/4 & 1/2 sizes. The 7/8 size also available. Violin only.

Fine, heavy antiquing of medium-brown varnish over a golden base. Sweet tone, yet with big projection. Good amount of tonal complexity. The "E" string is brilliant and clear in all positions; "G" string keeps a big voice in higher positions. A very good performance level instrument! 4/4, 7/8 & 3/4 sizes. Violin only.

HC3300: Gregory Sapp Violin Gregory Sapp was the Head Repairman of the well-known Kenneth Warren & Son violin shop. He is a graduate of the Chicago School of Violin Making, and has provided reputable repair services in the Chicago Metropolitan area for the past two decades. We are pleased to carry his meticulously hand-crafted violins.

These instruments are of limited production, and they come with a certificate with attached photos and appraisal from Mr. Sapp. Made from our own hand-picked Bosnian maple and Bavarian spruce, hand-finished and oil varnished. Beautifully antiqued, warm golden-brown varnish. This violin sings well in every range, aided by an abundance of tonal color and complexity - certainly a professional level instrument!
